Fort Walton Beach
Emerald Promenade Beachwalk – Seashore Beachwalk – Emerald View Beachwalk – Blue Dolphin Beachwalk – John Beasley Park
The Sunshine State has about 1,800 miles of coastline and 1,100 miles of beach – more than any state in the union. Twenty-four miles of this sandy shoreline – some would say the best of the best – are right here at the Heart of Florida’s Emerald Coast. The sand here has been described as “shockingly fine” and so clean that it squeaks underfoot. The brilliant emerald-green water of the Gulf of Mexico provides such a contrast with the blue sky above and the white sand below, it’s no wonder artists have been painting this stretch of paradise since it was discovered by the Spanish centuries ago. But perhaps one of the most amazing things about our beaches is that the very best belong to you, the beach-loving public.
Pensacola Beach
Pensacola Park East – Pensacola Park West
Pensacola Beach occupies nearly eight miles of the 40-mile-long Santa Rosa barrier island. It is surrounded by the Santa Rosa Sound to the north, the Gulf of Mexico to the south and on either side by the federally protected Gulf Islands National Seashore. You can swim, fish, kayak and play at one of two area beach parks: Casino Beach and Quietwater Beach. Lively Casino Beach is considered the geographic center of the area, while Quietwater Beach is closer to the commercial center and features its own boardwalk and concert area. There is also plenty of access to quiet areas of the beach where you can avoid the crowds.
Santa Rosa Beach
Henderson State Beach Park – James Lee Park – Miramar Beach – Ft Panic – Ed Walline 30A – Gulf View Heights – Blue Mountain Beach – Van Ness Butler – Santa Clara
Pristine white sugar sand beaches and more than 6,000 feet of natural scenic shoreline border the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Natural features of the park include sand pines, scrub oaks, and dune rosemary. Boardwalks provide access to the beach for swimming, sunbathing, and fishing. Four large and two small pavilions allow for picnicking and grilling. A playground is the first stop on our nature trail and is sure to be a success with the kids. The nature trail provides visitors a rare glimpse of the coastal dune ecosystem and abundant wildlife and is pet friendly.
Gulf Islands National Seashore
Johnson Beach – Gulf Islands National Seashore – Fort Pickens (Langdon Beach)
Gulf Islands National Seashores are located in various places throughout the Pensacola Bay Area, which include: The Naval Live Oaks Visitor Center, Fort Pickens and Perdido Key Beach (Johnson Beach). Historic Fort Pickens which has been standing since 1834 held its ground during the hurricane with only minor damage. Lead roofing was placed over the sallyport and sink holes filled in along the parade ground. There is increased erosion around the casemates and the tower bastion will be buttressed by sand.
Many visitors young and old come to Fort Pickens to enjoy its scenic location on the beach. The white sands of Santa Rosa Island are the perfect place for a long walk or an afternoon of building sandcastles. The warm ocean waters are great for swimming and snorkeling.
Fishermen will find a pier just a short distance from the picnic pavilions. It can be used by visitors without a Florida fishing license. Many hiking trails through the sand dunes provide beautiful views and hours of exploration.

Neatly tucked in the middle of residential, you truly get the sense of an untouched territory only accessible by the locals. Beach cottages mixed with modern homes in this old meets new neighborhood; this laid-back and carefree crockpot of sweeping sand dunes and shade landscape encompass all that is Inlet Beach.
