Siesta Key Beach Destination Weddings

Siesta Key Beach

With miles and miles of coastline, Sarasota County is one of Florida’s best spots for a beach wedding.  Visitors from across the world flock to Siesta Key — TripAdvisors #1 U.S. Beach in 2015 — for its famous white sand. Made of 99 percent quartz, the beaches here reflect light, meaning even on the brightest days, the sand is soft and cool underfoot.

Siesta Key is best suited for a weekday or evening ceremony; due its popularity the beach can get crowded during peak hours. A sunset ceremony with the white sand offset by the turquoise waters of the Gulf creates a magical array of colors, perfect for stunning wedding photographs.

We will work with the parks department to help you coordinate the logistics of your beach wedding on Siesta Key. Of the four zones available on Siesta Key for beachfront weddings, we recommend Zone 2. Parking is free and available in a public lot at 900 Beach Road, Siesta Key.

Siesta Key is world-known for having sugar white sand and breathtaking sunsets, start your wedding here with Our Wedding Packages

With a variety of restaurants, resorts and nightspots, your guests will love the festivities surrounding your ceremony at our Lido Beach ceremony site. We recommend staying at the Lido Beach Resort with its private beach and heated swimming pools, and a visit to this Sarasota gem should not go without a visit to the Blue Dolphin Cafe, famous for its breakfast.

We can help coordinate all the details surrounding your Lido Beach ceremony. We recommend either North Zone One, which features a pristine beach, sand dunes and a pine forest, or Zone Two, which is closer to an array of recreational activities. Permit costs are by the hour and run consecutively, this is automatically calculated during reservation based on the number of guests, time of day, etc.

If you want a more secluded experience that comes with the rare opportunity to see one of nature’s most fascinating sea creatures, plan your ceremony for Turtle Beach. You will enjoy a more tranquil experience in this less-dense area, and you may even see a Sea Turtle.

Regardless of which wedding site you choose in Sarasota County, we are confident that this sun-drenched stretch of surf and sand will provide an unforgettable venue for your big day.
