Upham Beach is located on the northern section of St. Pete Beach proper and walking distance from our New Reception Facility – Affordable Banquet (see aerial). A stones-throw away from neighboring St. Pete Beach hotels and beautiful Silver Sands Condominiums, this is the newest beach location on the block. Historically, there were large yellow sand-bags off the coast that prevented beach erosion, but hindered the setting conducive for a Beach Wedding Ceremony. However, in the summer of 2014, and again in 2017, the renourishment of Upham Beach fixed the issue. This is now is the widest location on St. Pete Beach and perfect for a romantic beach ceremony. Upham Beach features four long breath-taking Boardwalks that lead straight into your bridal aisle way. This location is the favorite among locals boasting beachside café’s for lunch and dinner.

Our wedding site is located at the end of 67^th Avenue and features a private 150’ Boardwalk entryway, extending directly into your bridal aisle way and Secluded Beach Wedding Package setup.

There is currently a $275 permit fee ($125 for Residents) required at this beach wedding location with metered parking. Nearby locations include: Sunset Beach (.25 miles north, 3 miles by car), and Pass-a-Grille Beach (3 miles south).

Airport: Tampa International Airport (Airport Code: TPA) ranks high in convenience and ease of travel and is located just 30 miles from Upham Beach. You can also fly into St Petersburg / Clearwater Airport, only 22 miles from Upham Beach.
