The Top Things to do in St Pete Beach

1. John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk- 12901 Gulf Blvd.

The “Pass”, as locals refer to it, was created by a hurricane on September 27, 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, Johns Pass. Located on the waterfront at Johns Pass, this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County’s #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.

2. Swim with the Fishes- 6000 Gulf Blvd.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to “Swim with the Fishes.” Swim with over 30 species of fish in a 33,500-gallon aquarium tank located in RumFish Grill in front of RumFish Beach Resort. Experience what it’s like to swim with grouper, green moray eel, tarpon, snook and many other Florida indigenous species! Also includes a behind-the-scenes tour to see how it all operates.

3. Alligator Attraction- 12973 Village Blvd., John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk Madeira Beach, FL 33708-2656

The Alligator Attraction is located upstairs at John’s Pass Village in Madeira Beach. The attraction is home to 60+ live gators, 30+ additional reptiles, and 100 fish from around the world. It is your chance to “kiss a gator” and experience wildlife and learn about wild places from all over the planet, right here in Pinellas County! Weekly animals and activities are featured including special events. At the Alligator Attraction 95% of the residents are rescued or surrendered pets.

4. Upham Beach- 6850 Beach Plaza St. Pete Beach, FL 33706-2001
