Kurt & Jennifer - In this Life and for Eternity
Kurt & Jennifer met at a time in their lives when finding love had not been overwhelmingly pleasant. However, as Kurt explains it, love was a smile away and when he was joined by Jennifer on a date that smile was hers.
It started at Longhorn Steakhouse in Warner Robins. Kurt and Jennifer’s first date was salads, steaks, a couple of beers and great conversation. Kurt reflects admitting that during the salad portion of the meal he was so smitten with Jennifer, equating the feeling to a sense of “Love at First Sight”. Feeling Jennifer could be his “one”, Kurt asked to extend the date which Jennifer agreed would be fun.
Eventually Kurt and Jennifer’s subsequent dates went smooth and the sense of togetherness deepened until one date Kurt had to show his intentions by asking Jennifer to move in with him. As Jennifer moved so too did her children Jackie, Sierra, and Noah. The emotions were perfect and Kurt realized Jennifer was his life, his love, his heart… the family the love Jennifer bore her children, it was what Kurt had always wanted and he could not hide it, he was madly in love with Jennifer.
During conversations Kurt and Jackie decided to purchase concert tickets for a Blake Shelton concert for Jennifer’s Christmas present, however, Jennifer’s love had become so deep and apparent that Kurt spiraled into thought and realized this was it the reason! He discussed marriage and love with Jennifer even going so far as to admitting he wanted to. In Kurt’s mind the proposal would be amazing during the concert and he set his mind to task devising and manipulating and eventually Jennifer picked up on some of the clues. Together their happiness flowed into a day shopping where Jennifer spotted the engagement ring she wanted. After discussing things with Kurt the two found themselves picking out an engagement ring. One night Kurt found himself having a dream which resulted in a decision not to propose at the concert but instead on the back deck in Kurt and Jennifer’s favorite spot. Kurt can muse, it is funny… Jennifer’s first words were “Now?” followed by “YES!”…
