Pass-a-Grille – St Pete Beach
Nearby hotels, restaurants, wine bars, live music, festivals, boat rentals, and museums are just a short drive away. In addition, Pass-a-Grille’s proximity to downtown St. Pete (15-20 minute drive), offers the best in both beach enjoyment and urban amenities.
Florida Gulf Beach Weddings has setup at the end of 22nd Avenue since 2006 – this is the very north end of Pass-a-Grille’s Public Beach Access and least crowded section. Facing north, you have views of the Don Cesar hotel and the entire St. Pete beach skyline. As you go farther south (7-11th Aveues) this area serves as the ‘hub’ of Pass-a-Grille beach: small shoppes, exhibits, local restaurants, B&B’s and Inn’s, and Suntan Saturday Fine Art Market liter this central section of Pass-a-Grille beach. Although not conducive for a wedding, this is an excellent area to troll and take-in the quaint old Florida style charm that is Pass-a-Grille Beach. Continuing south to the end of 1st Avenue, the southernmost tip, this is also a beautiful area with views of Ft. DeSoto Park & Egmont Key. Again, this is not the ideal location for a wedding since it is narrower than the 22nd Avenue location, rocky beach sand, and less parking. However it is equally beautiful and there’s a small pier similar to ‘Mile 0’ in Key West.
Exceeding expectations is both at the core of Florida Gulf Beach Weddings and Pass-a-Grille Beach. Nearby locations include: Upham Beach (4 miles north), and Ft. DeSoto Park (1 mile south, 8 miles by car).
Airport: Tampa International Airport ranks high in convenience and ease of travel and is located just 28 miles from Pass-a-Grille Beach. You can also fly into St. Petersburg / Clearwater Airport, which is only 20 miles from Pass-a-Grille Beach.
