It all started with a nosy sister in law who decided to play match maker one day…

Then came the Facebook stalking, the texting, the phone calls, and finally, the first date. Now, depending on who you ask, James was definitely the one who messaged me first! I always tell James I knew he was the one when he brought me cassette tapes on our first date instead of flowers (he knew I had a ’96 Camry that only had a cassette player instead of a CD player). We began dating in October, 2016 and have been together ever since!

Fast forward to June 25, 2021 where James completely surprised me (for once!) and took me to his grandparents house, where he proposed on the dock down by the river. I think it took about two minutes for the shock to wear off and for me to actually say yes…poor James! Since the engagement, we have spent most of our relationship long distance (11 hours!) as James had to move for work. I joined him July of 2023 and we are so excited to finally have a wedding date and say our vows on the beach! These past 7 years have been filled with laughs, challenges, adventures, tears, love, and non-stop memories. I couldn’t ask for a better partner, best friend, and soon to be husband to be by my side!

Now, let’s go get married!
