Beach Wedding Dress Code

Beach Wedding Dress Code

We know that as you plan your wedding, both bride and groom will be scrutinizing Pinterest, Instagram and searching the web for the perfect wedding day ensemble. We are not going to try to give you exhaustive advice on the latest styles and trends in this chapter.

But, in the thousands of weddings we’ve organized, we have seen both smart and not-so-smart fashion decisions. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you pick out your outfits and tell your guests what to wear:

How formal?

You want to look nice, but you are also going to the beach.

The formality of your ceremony is generally dictated by how formal your reception is going to be and how many guests you have.

If everyone is headed to a dive bar for a night of drinking and revelry after the ceremony, you are certainly going to be less dressed up than if everyone is heading to The Don Cesar hotel, St. Pete Beach’s historic “pink castle.” If your ceremony just has a handful of people in attendance, most couples scale down the dress code expectations.

Footwear

Remember, the beach is sandy. This means brides want to avoid high heels or clogs. Most end up wearing simple flats, sandals or going barefoot. Most of our grooms (90%) start out with sandals but end up kicking them off and just going barefoot.

In the morning and evening, when we typically hold our ceremonies, the sand isn’t as hot, and most people have no problem going barefoot. After all, we are on the beach – pretty sure the heart rate goes down a little when you’re in the sand…

Groom’s dress code

Most of our grooms wear a simple ensemble: Khaki pants, a button-down shirt and maybe a tie (ties are present about a fourth of the time).

Those who are going the most formal may wear a vest, but almost no one wears a jacket. Not only is it hot and doesn’t breathe, but a jacket generally looks out of place during a beach ceremony.

Bride’s dress code

For the bride, keep in mind that you will be navigating down a sand aisle in whatever you wear. We had one bride who, against our recommendation, insisted on a traditional 10-foot-long train. It looked lovely in pictures to start, but by the time she reached the altar she was dragging 30 pounds of sand in her train. She was a little warm and not too happy about the sweat she had worked up from her impromptu workout.

If you are going to have a full-on wedding dress, we would urge you to have a short train or one that can be pinned up, so you don’t end up bringing a convoy of sand with you down the aisle.

We aren’t here to give fashion advice. But brides — we recommend keeping it simpler than you would if you were getting married indoors. The sun, breeze and sand are all factors that you should consider as you are putting together your wedding ensemble.

Bridal Hair Suggestions

Ultimately this is personal preference, and we don’t want to get in the way of a bride and her perfect hairstyle. To keep it simple when you think of something outdoors, potentially warm, and windy…think ‘up.’ In other words, it needs to be pinned and held in place well. The more that covers the shoulders, the more it acts as a sail and doesn’t let the neck breathe. I personally prefer a touch of flower (not flour), baby’s breath, small sunflowers, even an orchid will add a nice touch and further the beach theme.

On several occasions over the years, the wind kicked up and was coming from the back of where the bride traditionally stands…we offered to switch the setup (so the bride faced into the wind). Little trick, but this made for a more enjoyable experience and the same great photos!

What do we tell guests?

Most people will instinctively know that a beach wedding means they should look nice, but they don’t need to dress as if they are going to meet the queen.

But you may have some guests who are genuinely confused as to what to wear to your special event, so you can help them out on the invitation. Include a note that specifies the dress code.

Most of our couples opt for “polished casual.” This is what you would wear for a nice night out to a restaurant where you don’t need a jacket, but you also shouldn’t wear jeans. For the guys, this usually leads to them wearing khakis and a button-down. Ladies tend to wear a classy sundress.

It is also good to remind your guests (you probably don’t need to put this on the invitation) that they should arrive at the ceremony ready to go. Sometimes we’ll have bridal parties that show up expecting to do their makeup on site. Most of the spots where we hold weddings will have restrooms, however these are your typical beach bathrooms, which have blurry mirrors and no air conditioning, the last 100 people in there were sandy and is not an ideal spot to finish getting ready.

Sunglasses

We highly recommend sunglasses for the guests but not the wedding party.

Most of our evening ceremonies use the setting sun as a backdrop. We try to situate the chairs so that the guests are not staring directly into the sun, but a pair of shades is still recommended.

For the bridal party, you should take your sunglasses off about 20 minutes before the ceremony begins. That way your eyes will have adjusted to the sun, and you will not be squinting in all the pictures.

What Is a Destination Wedding?

With a destination wedding, the happy couple chooses to take their ceremony on the road. Selecting a location either for its scenic backdrop or a more personal connection, they will invite their families, friends, wedding party members, guests to join them for the ultimate romantic adventure of a lifetime.

How Do Destination Weddings Work?

If planning a wedding locally sounds stressful, you might assume it would be doubly so to plan a destination wedding. This could not be further from the truth. Not only are destination weddings generally much simpler to plan, but they are often more affordable as well!

What Are the Benefits of Having a Destination Wedding?

There are several major benefits to planning a destination wedding, but here are the two major ones:

  • Vastly fewer arrangements
  • Typically less costly

If you plan your wedding locally, you must take care of individual tasks such as booking locations for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception; ordering flowers, food, balloons, and cake; hiring a DJ or wedding band; and planning the honeymoon.  With a destination wedding, you simply need to choose the date and location. Typically, apart from airfare, all other arrangements are inclusive in your destination wedding package!

Why Are Destination Weddings More Affordable Than Traditional Weddings?

According to a study conducted by The Knot, the cost of an average wedding is typically more expensive than that of a destination wedding.

Though this may initially seem counterintuitive, there are reasons behind this:

  • Many resorts offer group discounts to wedding parties
  • Varying exchange rates in foreign locations often lead to better “deals”
  • With a dramatic backdrop, couples spend much less (or nothing) on decorations
  • Fewer guests typically travel to destination weddings, meaning lower overall costs
  • Destination weddings often double as honeymoons, bundling those expenses

Though not all of these scenarios apply every time, they serve as prime examples of why destination weddings are often more affordable than local ones.

How Do I Make Sure My Guests Can Afford to Attend Our Destination Wedding?

With destination weddings, the biggest concern is generally making sure your guests can afford the travel expenses.

One of the best ways to ensure they can swing the costs (particularly if there is a long, expensive flight involved) is to allow guests plenty of time to save up and set money aside. A longer lead time also gives them ample opportunity to shop around for deals and catch seasonal rates.

How Far in Advance Do I Need to Plan My Destination Wedding?

Anything under a year would be difficult to manage; not only because it would not allow your guests much time to plan ahead financially but also because popular wedding destination sites begin to book up early. For the best outcomes, try to finalize your plans anywhere from a year to a year and a half in advance.

couple on a beachWhat Are the Legal Requirements When Getting Married Out of the Country?

Short answer: it depends.

Every country has its own legal requirements concerning marriage. Once you have selected your destination, be sure to conduct careful research so that you can be prepared with any items required: passport, birth certificate, blood tests, or what have you. Fortunately, if you book with a destination wedding service, your consultant is often able to advise you in these matters. Be sure to take their advice seriously and follow through on any steps they recommend.

How Much Does a Destination Wedding Cost?

Naturally, the costs for a destination vary according to many factors:

  • Location
  • Time of year
  • Size of your wedding party
  • Any planned group activities and “extras”
  • The specific destination wedding service you partner with
  • Level of the destination wedding package you select (standard to deluxe)
  • The number of days you stay at the destination, both before and after the ceremony

While the average price of a destination wedding clocks in around $35,000, many destination weddings can be booked for a significantly lower price tag, averaging between $8,000-$10,000.

How Do I Get a Destination Wedding Marriage License?

Whether domestic or international, every location will have its own regulations. If you are planning for your destination wedding ceremony to take care of the legal aspects of your marriage, always be sure to check with your destination wedding coordinator well in advance to learn what steps will be required.

family celebrating weddingWhat Percentage of Guests Actually Attend a Destination Wedding?

In most cases, between 10%-20% of all guests you invite to a standard wedding will decline. When planning a destination wedding, know that the percentage will veer more toward the 20% statistic and perhaps even exceed it.

How Should I Travel on a Plane With My Wedding Dress?

Fortunately, airlines are accustomed to helping brides with their gowns. Though they generally have plans in place to allow for gowns to be carried on and hung in a safe and secure compartment, each airline handles cases differently. It’s important that you call your airline well in advance and pack your dress carefully in a garment bag for secure transport.

How Do I Travel With Destination Wedding Favors and Wedding Gift Bags?

Honestly, you should first ask yourself if this is a responsibility you want to (or even need to!) take care of yourself. In many cases, wedding favors and gift bag items can be purchased upon arrival at your destination, and some destination wedding services can even add this task to their list of responsibilities.

Where Do I Get My Hair and Makeup Done for My Destination Wedding?

If you’re planning to hire a professional to take care of your hair and makeup, your coordinator can offer connections to the best local options. Often, your beauty treatments can be taken care of in-house at the resort! In many cases, the professionals can be brought to you. You may not even need to leave your room!

Destination Wedding Etiquette

It doesn’t matter if your dream wedding is set in a picturesque field of sunflowers or the ballroom of luxury resort hotel, a destination wedding is a memorable occasion.  There are benefits to hosting a destination wedding, but it takes a lot of intense planning and some serious organizational skills to pull it off without a hitch.

florida wedding wedding

Wedding etiquette is tricky enough, but a destination wedding comes with its own set of rules. Weddings are always about the couple, but guests are just as important, especially when they are traveling to attend the ceremony. You’ll want to ensure they have all the information they need way before the big day.

Consider these tips from our wedding experts before your wedding abroad.

Is It Rude to Have a Destination Wedding?

Spend any time at all researching weddings on the Internet and you’ll find the topic of destination weddings is a hot one. Is it rude to ask wedding guests to travel long distances for your wedding? No. It is rude to expect everyone to come when it just may not be an option for everyone.

Unless you are paying travel expenses for everyone on your guest list, some people may not be able to afford it. Even if you send early reminders to save the date, some of your guests may be ill or not be able to get off work. All kinds of emergencies can happen, including financial emergencies. Having a destination wedding isn’t rude, but demanding, pressuring, and expecting any of your guests to be there is.

How Much Notice Should You Give Guests for a Destination Wedding?

It takes time to plan for a trip, no matter what the occasion. Applying for work leave, searching for travel deals, saving money, and getting a passport all require months to accomplish. Your wedding guests will be making a considerable effort to attend your special day activities. You want to make it as easy as possible.

Destination Wedding Save the Date Etiquette

A “save the date” card is sent to wedding guests several months before the wedding invitation. It doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive. It can be as simple as a postcard or handwritten note. The only important part is the date.

In the case of destination weddings, they can be sent as early as a year before the official date. Informing your guests eight to 12 months out gives them plenty of time to prepare for a trip.

As soon as the wedding location is set in stone, send out those date savers. Your guests have adequate time to prepare and you will have a better idea of who can make it by the time you send out invitations.

Destination Wedding Invitation Etiquette

The official wedding invitation is an important part of the ceremony. It takes some time and deliberation for the couple to choose the perfect invitation. Keeping that in mind, make sure invitations for a destination wedding are sent out five to six months before the day of the wedding.

If you are planning an international wedding, it is even more important to give your guests proper time to prepare. You may consider extending the dates by three weeks to a month.

Destination Wedding Etiquette: Who Pays?

While basic wedding etiquette does change as years progress, no one expects the bride and groom to cover all expenses for a destination wedding. This only happens in cases of the very wealthy. It can feel uncomfortable to convey this expectation, but it doesn’t have to. Be clear and concise about what expenses the guests are responsible for and state it in the invitation.

Who Pays for What at a Destination Wedding?

Expenses for a destination wedding aren’t much different from for a local wedding. As society changes, so do weddings and that includes the budget. Parents, couples, and even friends and family may kick in to help foot the bill.

Traditionally, parents or the couple pay for the ceremony and rehearsal dinner. This includes everything from clergy to vendors, to the venue, and flower arrangements.

Guests are expected to pay for their own travel as well as hotel and room expenses. Wedding attendants should pay for their own formal wear, makeup, and grooming.

Make Travel as Easy and Smooth as Possible for Guests

The wedding couple is not responsible for the guests travel expenses, but they should make it as easy as possible for their beloved guests.

Offer a Range of Lodging Options for Guests

A great way to make things easier for guests is to get discounts for hotel rooms. If your getting married at a resort, ask them about securing a group rate on a number of rooms. Another great option is to give guests a list of nearby hotels at varying price points. Some airlines will even give group rates if several of your guests are all flying from the same location. You can also rent a large cabin, vacation home, or Airbnb for guests to cut down on hotel costs.

Taking care of your guests is vital. You want every memory of your wedding day to be special. Unhappy guests can ruin that. Paying for a fun activity can make all the difference. Poolside yoga, scuba diving, or horseback riding can keep guests busy and entertained while they wait for the big event. Give them a chance to turn your wedding into a mini vacation.

Gift Etiquette for Destination Wedding

An easy way to take some financial load off your wedding guests is to forgo wedding gifts. Let them know on the wedding invitation that their presence is gift enough and you appreciate it.

Do You Give a Gift for a Destination Wedding?

Destination weddings can be a pricey trip for your guests. If you haven’t told them to skip the wedding gifts, make sure they know it’s OK to send something later. It’s easier than carrying extra baggage abroad for both you and them.

Destination Wedding Shower Etiquette

A destination wedding shower is a great way to celebrate your nuptials with those who can’t make the ceremony. Since gifts are involved, it’s important to only invite people who are also invited to the wedding.

Planning a destination wedding doesn’t have to be stressful. Many couples prefer to leave the particulars to a professional and concentrate on enjoying each other and their big day. If it seems too overwhelming, a wedding pro can help.

How Do You Plan a Florida Beach Wedding?

A Guide to Planning a Beach Wedding in Florida

The time has finally arrived. You’ve found your perfect partner and are now ready to plan the wedding of your dreams. The phenomenal beauty of a Florida beach wedding makes it everyone’s dream. Whether you’re dreaming of an elopement on the sparkling sand, a grand event with all your family and friends, or something in the middle, Florida beaches fulfill your fondest wishes. All you have to do is start planning!

How to Plan a Beach Wedding in Florida

Planning a Florida beach wedding can be intimidating but it is much easier than it seems. Wedding packages make everything a lot easier. They come with everything you need to make your special day extraordinary. Pick and choose the options that are most important to you and pay a standard rate instead of searching out everything you need for all aspects of your wedding individually. You save time, money, and frustration.

Simply follow these guidelines to create a day full of memories and meaning to sustain you the rest of your life.

Location

This may sound like a no-brainer but there is a lot to consider when it comes to the location of your wedding. It must be somewhere both you and your spouse feel called to be. Beautiful beach weddings aren’t only on exotic islands. Florida has beaches that are both remote and urban.

You’ll also want to consider your guests. Make sure they are having a great trip all the time, not just at the wedding. Host your wedding at a beach in close proximity to a great hotel, museums, trendy restaurants, and local attractions.

beach wedding location

Weather

Florida weather can be a fickle thing. If you’re planning an outdoor wedding on a beach, it can be a constant stressor. There are a few things you can do to ease your wedding weather worries.

First, research the weather in your preferred location during the month of your wedding. If it’s prone to storms, you may want to choose another month or location. Secondly, make sure your chosen location has an inclement weather plan so if bad weather does hit you and your guests will be safe. Lastly, always have a Plan B in case something goes wrong.

beach wedding planning

Time of Year

The time of year you get married matter much more than you think. Violent storms and massive spring break crowds can have a negative impact on a beach wedding. There is much to consider when deciding what time of year to have a beach wedding.

Hurricane season runs from June all the way through November in Florida. That doesn’t knock those months out completely, however. April and November have the least amount of rain throughout the year. The highest rainfall occurs from June through September. April and May are beautiful calm weather months to get married in Florida, if a bit more crowded.

Travel Costs

It doesn’t matter if you live in Florida or across the country, travel costs should still be factored into your Florida beach wedding plans. Your guests will need to be aware of travel costs such as airfare in time to prepare to purchase the ticket.

The airport you use has a lot to do with the price of the airfare. A destination wedding in a very popular or highly populated are will be more expensive than a more remote area beach wedding.

Hotel stays are another travel cost to consider. You may be able to get a hefty discount by reserving a block of rooms for your guests. If you go with an all-inclusive wedding package, your guests rooms will be included.

Scope Out the Place

It is immensely helpful if you are able to visit your wedding destination before the big day. Most venues have fantastic websites showcasing all their amenities but it’s always better to see things for yourself. Checking out the city for yourself gives you the opportunity to see every little shop, event venue, hotel and attraction that may not be available online.

You want to have a good time every day of the trip, not just during the ceremony. You want your guests to feel the same excited joy that you do. Thoroughly check out your destination city to make sure it can offer you and your guests everything you need.

planning a wedding

Wedding Invitations

Wedding invitations can be a big expense or a small one. It all depends on the wedding couple’s preferences. Some people feel their invitation is an extension of the actual ceremony and should be just as lavish. Others see them only as a minor necessity and choose a basic, economical invitation.

Send your invitations far in advance of the wedding. Alternatively, you can send a “save the date” card up to a year before the wedding day and send the actual invitation a few months before.

Create a Wedding Website

A wedding website is the perfect way to keep everyone in the know about your wedding details. You can update it with new news and information on travel costs, hotels, and attractions in the area. Post a timeline of wedding events so your guests know what to expect. Post your engagement photos and pictures of big days during the planning process. A wedding website keeps everyone as excited about the approaching day as you are.

You don’t have to be a tech genius to have a wedding website. There are many simple templates to use or you can hire a web designer to come up with something you really love.

These are just a few of the top factors to plan for during your Florida beach wedding adventure. The more planning you do, the more things you will find to plan for. Each wedding is different. This list will set you on the path to planning a perfect wedding day.

If all the planning feels like too much, there are many Florida beach wedding packages available. These packages contain everything you need for your special day for one basic price. A wedding specialist will help you put together a package that will delight your guests and make your wedding a day you will cherish forever.

Can You Get Married on the Beach in Florida?

If you’re dreaming of a perfect Florida beachside wedding, the good news is that you can absolutely get married on the beach in Florida.

Though the answer is yes, you will still need to put in some time and preparation to ensure that you are properly permitted (public beach), have permission to host your ceremony there (private beach), and obtained the proper marriage license to make sure everything is legally official (all beaches).

Legal Requirements for Florida Marriage

No matter what sort of beach wedding you’re planning, you will want to make sure you’ve met all the legal requirements for Florida marriage.

Scan below to see which scenario best matches your plans.

Do We Need a Permit to Get Married on the Beach in Florida?

If you’re planning to tie the knot on one of Florida’s public beaches, you’ll want to remember that though “public” means the beach is open to everyone, that doesn’t mean just anyone can roll up at any time, block off part of the beach, and hold a ceremony.

Although there are a few Florida beaches that do not require a permit, most local parks and recreation departments require that you obtain one for your ceremony, the costs of which can reach into the hundreds of dollars.

Remember that permits can take time, and the wheels of local government can often grind slowly.

Here are a few examples of the costs and wait times you could face in receiving a permit for a Florida beach wedding.

  • Palm Beach County Beaches: $50 per day (but only if you plan to include a professional photographer or videographer).
  • Clearwater Beach: $100 for up to 100 guests.
  • Miami Beach: $150

As you research, you’ll want to read the fine print. Some agencies, like Palm Beach County Beaches listed above, do not require a permit unless you meet certain requirements. Others include attendance restrictions.

Take your time, research well, and consider working with wedding planning professionals to help you sort through the details!

Do I Need a Florida Marriage License for Weddings on the Beach in Florida?

Yes!

If you want to get married anywhere in Florida, including on the beach, you will want to obtain a Florida marriage license in advance.

When it comes to obtaining a marriage license in Florida, here are the basics:

  • Both members of the couple must be present and age 18 or older
  • You both must present valid government ID that confirms your name, date of birth and signature
  • Previously married applicants must provide the exact date a divorce or annulment became official or the exact date of the previous spouse’s death
  • Licenses are valid throughout the state for 60 days after the issue date

In addition, the couple must read the Florida-published “Family Law Handbook” before applying. Yes, this includes couples who are not originally from, living in, or planning to reside in Florida. But the good news is that the handbook is free online!

Just like beach permits, wedding licenses will cost money and take time to obtain.

In Florida, all marriage licenses are issued at the state level; therefore, no matter where you apply or plan to hold the ceremony, all costs and wait times will be identical.

Visitors can obtain one by going to any clerk of court and applying, bringing the correct form of  ID as listed above.

The standard wait time to receive a marriage license is three days; however, Florida residents who have proven they have completed the proper requirements (such as reading the handbook mentioned above), can have this wait-time waived.

After that, all that’s left is to pay the fee and schedule the wedding:

Marriage licenses are good for 60 days. The standard fee is $93.50, which can be reduced to $61 for Florida residents who have completed a premarital preparation course. It’s not necessary for residents to obtain licenses from their home county. It can typically be paid by cash, charge or personal check.

Can You Get Married at a Beachfront Resort or Condo Where You Are Staying?

The short answer? Yes!

In almost all cases, you can absolutely get married at a beachfront resort or the condo where you are planning to stay while you’re in Florida. In fact, many couples choose to do so simply for how much easier this makes the entire process.

hotel

There are some details to consider, though.

First, you’ll want to consult with the resort manager or the owner of the residence of the condo rental. They will have information on exactly what requirements need to be met and will likely have their own set of in-house fees they charge for hosting “in-house” beachside weddings.

The good news is that condo and beach house rentals typically don’t charge extra fees other than the original price of the rental. Resorts, however, charge their own fees for hosting weddings. Typically, they have their own spaces dedicated for such weddings and keep their own list of vendors.

On the plus side, your work will be greatly streamlined, since you will only have to communicate with and pay one source: the resort itself. The downside, of course, is that you’ll have fewer options for personalization and deal-making.

Many couples, however, find eliminating the hassle of arranging everything for themselves only heightens their enjoyment of the day.

If you’re looking to work with a team of professionals who can help with all of your Florida beachside wedding plans, look no further.

Deciding how many people to invite is one of the most difficult tasks of your wedding planning adventure. On one hand, you want to invite everyone you know to the most important day of your life. On the other, you want only the most important people in your life to share in this meaningful event.

Many factors play a part in your decision to have a large or small wedding including budget, family, and time. There are pros and cons to both large and small weddings. Compare them to help make your decision easier.

Small weddings are easier to plan, more intimate, and less expensive. There are disadvantages as well. You can’t invite as many people as you may want, which can lead to arguments with your family or fiancé. Those who didn’t get invited can feel hurt or slighted.

Big weddings are extremely memorable. They promote fun and a party atmosphere. Large weddings are also more expensive and stressful. They take longer to plan and often incur large unexpected expenses.

What is Considered Small?

The smallest of all weddings is an elopement. Just you and your betrothed promising to love, honor, and cherish. There are still romantic memories to cherish and a full life to look forward to. It may be the perfect decision for some couples.

The average wedding costs approximately $33,400. A price tag that big could cover the newlyweds first home. Another indicator of a small wedding is the price. A small wedding will typically cost in the $1000 to $8,000 range. Having a low-cost wedding allows the couple to spend more on big ticket items such as the dress and the honeymoon.

For most people, a small wedding is somewhere under 50 people. Still intimate enough to visit with each of your guests but big enough to include everyone important to you both. Small weddings are perfect for couples that value intimacy. Wedding packages in Florida provide a traditional romantic ceremony for even the smallest of parties.

It All Depends on Budget

Beach weddings in Florida can fit any budget with proper planning. The all-inclusive cost of a Florida beach wedding is often cheaper than a small wedding at a local venue and all the small add-on costs that occur.

Micro-wedding packages are a very inexpensive way to tie the knot. For less than $900, two, or as many as five, people can take part in the wedding experience. Go for a larger beach wedding package if your guest list is larger.

Location also plays a big part in the beach wedding budget. Beaches in Ponce Inlet and Naples have more expensive fees than locations such as Daytona Beach. Save even more money by choosing a location with many nearby attractions and hotels such as St. Pete, Clearwater and Tampa. Fortunately, Florida has many museums, art galleries, and entertainment venues to visit after the wedding.

Budgeting for a wedding can begin years before the official date. Once you’ve decided on a budget, set aside a percentage of income every month. Save up for deposits first so as not to miss special pricing and discounts.

Guest List Size

The size of your guest list directly affects the rest of your wedding planning and budget. Keeping it small eliminates a lot of stress and downsizes your budget considerably.

When deciding upon wedding guests, it helps to start with all the “definite yeses” and then move on to people who are “maybes”. Carefully scrutinize the “maybes” and decide if it is crucial that they appear at your wedding.

Pare down the guest list by crossing anyone off the list who you haven’t spoken to in years. Exclude co-workers, neighbors, and classmates. Of course, couples can always go the extreme route and elope with a Florida beach wedding package.

A big perk to having a destination wedding is that most people understand that the guest lists are smaller. You don’t have as many hurt feelings or angry relatives. Solve any such problems by having a special wedding reception back home for those who couldn’t attend the wedding.

Choosing the Perfect Florida Beach Wedding Package

Choosing a wedding package is a choice for simplicity, romance, and adventure. It’s also a choice to save money for a home and new life. It is important to choose the right one. Knowing exactly which package is right for your wedding is hard. Ask yourself these three questions to help make the right decision.

  • How many people do I want at my wedding?
  • What amenities do I want to include in my wedding?
  • What is my wedding budget?

The wedding package that will work best for you will be big enough to accommodate all your guests, have all the fun extras you need, and fit well inside your budget. Use these points as guidelines when looking for the perfect beach wedding in Florida.

Ask questions about factors that are important to you before you choose a package. Find out if the packages are customizable. You may be able to take out extras you don’t want and replace it with something more desirable.

Narrow your choices down to two or three wedding packages that best cover your needs and then weigh the pros and cons of each to make your final decision.

A beach wedding in Florida doesn’t have to be the biggest expense of your life. You have a lot of happy years to look forward to. Why not spend your money on something you can enjoy together for years? Buy a house or an RV. Take a dream vacation or spend it on tuition. Starting your new life with a nest egg makes the first years less stressful.
