Treasure Island at the Thunderbird
Around 3 years ago on Treasure Island at the Thunderbird….
Tom: I was as sitting there having a drink, enjoying the music and sun. Then I see this girl sitting there having her lunch listening to the music. I asked her if she wanted a drink. She said sure. We sat and talked for a couple hours (as we call it now, blah blahing). We talked about my dad, our businesses and families. Before she left to head back to her job, I asked, the next time I’m in town would you like to come over and get together. She said, yeah let me know when you are coming back. Then every time I came to see my father I would head over to the beach for a relaxing weekend and got together with Tammy. Then one thing lead to another over our 3 year period. We weren’t looking for love at all. We were just friends hanging out enjoying great conversations and the beach.
Tammy: I had to take a break from cleaning and decided to head to my favorite place to eat my lunch and listen to music. This guy asks me if I want a drink and I said sure. What I still find interesting is the time flies by when Tom and I talk. Besides my father, Tom can talk a lot and I mean a lot! Every time Tom came back into town he would call and ask me if I wanted to come hangout and enjoy the beach. One day we were sitting there with our beach kit.* I looked over at him and said you are just a regular ole redneck! He said yeah that’s right. *For all of those want to know what consists of our beach kit, here it ya go: ChiChi small pineapple mango tequila bottles, roast beef, ham and peanut butter crackers.
There’s something to be said for being able to sit and talk to someone during a 11 hour car ride and never thought about turning on the radio.
We then developed a strong, loving and lasting relationship. That’s why we are here today.
So let’s all blah blah and enjoy the kit together!
