Lee and Sonia met in August 2015. But their first official date was in October of that year. They lost contact with each other for about 2 years due to a deployment and other life changes. Lee returned and found Sonia again through social media and they rekindled their friendship. They have so much in common between them. They can talk to each other about anything. They love long walks, watching a good football game, and playing trivia. Their relationship started slow but they knew that they wanted to spend their lives together with God by their side. Lee told Sonia he loved her December 10, 2021. But she knew she loved him long before then. It feels like they’ve known each other forever but their journey has just begun.
