happy coupleThe Alabama Point East Beach Access location is the ideal location for Medium to Large sized weddings in the heart of Orange Beach.  Rated ‘The Best Location to watch a Sunset’ by the locals, this one-of-a-kind location is nestled on East Side of the Perdido Key Bridge across from the Caribe restaurant and a stones throw from ‘The Gulf’ restaurant. There are nice restrooms and outdoor showers on site. There is ample free parking (54 Paved Parking Spots + an Additional 50 Sand Parking Spaces) and the beach is easily accessible.  This is a stunning location for you and your guests.  During the daytime, tourists and locals flock to the beautiful beaches however, the ‘beach goer’ crowd tends to thin into the evening hours.  This is a beautiful beach and is located 2.8 miles East of Alabama Highway 161 just over the Perdido Beach Blvd. Bridge.  Two boardwalks give us plenty of privacy and access for a picturesque wedding on Alabama’s coast!  Recommended locations include Zone #1 and Zone #2 located at the far East and West ends of this location, with the Boardwalk Entryway providing the ideal backdrop for pictures on the Big Day!

*Its not uncommon to find some of the locals riding the waves when the weather arises!

Beasley Park is a wonderful public beach park located on Okaloosa Island between Destin and Fort Walton, FL. It offers a more casual beach visit suited for families or couples looking to relax and enjoy the surf and sand. It has a tremendous amount of scenic beauty, which makes it a favorite location for a beach wedding. You can see them happen throughout the year, but most frequently during the early summer and fall months! I also think this beach location provides the backdrop for more “beach portraits” than any other area beach. John Beasley Park is an iconic wildlife area located on Miracle Parkway adjacent to the visitor center. Restrooms, large parking area, scenic dunes, handicap ramps are all features of this ideal wedding location!

Emerald Beach Wedding

The Sunshine State has about 1,800 miles of coastline and 1,100 miles of beach – more than any state in the union. Twenty-four miles of this sandy shoreline – some would say the best of the best – are right here at the Heart of Florida’s Emerald Coast. The sand here has been described as “shockingly fine” and so clean that it squeaks underfoot. The brilliant emerald-green water of the Gulf of Mexico provides such a contrast with the blue sky above and the white sand below, it’s no wonder artists have been painting this stretch of paradise since it was discovered by the Spanish centuries ago. But perhaps one of the most amazing things about our beaches is that the very best belong to you, the beach-loving public. Book a Fort Walton Beach wedding today from one of our affordable Wedding Packages, or try our Beach Wedding Studio™ and design the day you have always dreamed about.

Many visitors young and old come to Fort Pickens to enjoy its scenic location on the beach. The white sands of Santa Rosa Island are the perfect place for a long walk or an afternoon of building sandcastles. The warm ocean waters are great for swimming and snorkeling.

Fishermen will find a pier just a short distance from the picnic pavilions. It can be used by visitors without a Florida fishing license. Many hiking trails through the sand dunes provide beautiful views and hours of exploration.

Historic Fort Pickens, a pentagonal fort built to defend Pensacola Bay in 1834, is just 1 mile from the campground. The structure was fortified after the War of 1812 and was one of four forts in the South never occupied by Confederates during the Civil War.

Beasley Park is a wonderful public beach park located on Okaloosa Island between Destin and Fort Walton, FL. It has a tremendous amount of scenic beauty, which makes it a favorite location for a beach wedding. I also think this beach location provides the backdrop for more “beach portraits” than any other area beach.

Okaloosa Island, a dividing plot of land between Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Florida, is home to fun family activities including the popular Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. The Boardwalk offers eclectic shopping, fresh seafood dining, exciting entertainment, stunning ocean pier views, and public beach access and amenities. A historic landmark, the Boardwalk was constructed in the 1930’s as a resort destination with restaurants, gambling, and an amusement park. A decade later, the original Boardwalk (then named “Tower Beach”) was destroyed in a massive fire. The resulting reconstruction provided a more tame destination, focused on public use with the option for dining, shopping, and entertainment. There are plenty of things to do at the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island, so let me help you plan a day at this famous Fort Walton Beach hot spot!
