Bayside Banquets is a wonderful choice for an affordable event, especially if you and your out-of-town guests plan on staying in one of the wonderful beach-front hotels located directly across the street, including the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort Hotel.
They have 2 great banquet rooms. This can be used as a Rain Backup Location for the Beach Ceremony.
The Long Key is the banquet room is used for larger Weddings and receptions.
The Long Key can seat up to 150 in a very casual set, but 80 -110 is most comfortable for a wedding reception. Because of the design, smaller groups do work well in there too. It is on the 2nd floor, has elevator access, and has water views of Boca Ciega Bay.
The room has a small stage and a nice size dance floor. There is a wonderful bar with bar stools for your guests to enjoy a cocktail while visiting with friends. The buffet is separate from the seating area of the Long Key, a feature clients like. Guests can also enjoy the patio furniture just outside of the lobby doors if they go downstairs to grab a little of the fresh ocean breeze. The required minimum in food and beverage sales in the Long Key is $3,350.00.
That is based on 80 guests, but if your count is lower than 80 we can help you meet that food and beverage minimum in a variety of ways.
The Pine Key is the smaller banquet room and can seat up to 80, but 50-60 is most comfortable, and because of the layout, smaller groups work very well in there too!
It is on the 1st floor and has large windows that look out to a lighted patio, making the room feel open and airy. Guests can easily wander outside and enjoy the patio furniture placed right outside of the banquet room. The required minimum in food and beverage sales in the Pine Key is $1,680.00.
If you have less than 40 guests they can help you reach that minimum in a variety of ways.
Everything is included in the reception packages; the room for 4 hours (there is NO room charge), all set up/breakdown, clean up, the tables and chairs and linens, staff , cash bar with bartender, standard dinner buffet, dance floor, cake cutting service , etc. It also includes chair covers and sashes – we have quite a few colors, even complementary centerpieces to choose from!
We have a very spacious parking lot for complementary parking as well.
If you do not already have one, Bayside can recommend experienced DJs. A DJ manages your reception, taking care of all of the schedule and announcing – guiding your reception along and making sure no important moment is missed.
The popular dinner buffet menu consists of a salad, bread & butter, 2 vegetables, 2 starches, and 3 entree items – a beef, a chicken and salmon.
The house linen options are white table cloths, white napkins, white chair covers, and over 20+ colors of chair sashes for you to choose from – you can view colors on Bayside’s website.
There are several complementary centerpieces for you to choose from, as well as several that have a minimal upgrade charge, and arrangements by your florist are always welcome. an recommend a great florist if needed.
The bar can be handled in several different ways, from a full open premium or well brand bar – to a hosted bar or a cash bar – and several variations in between. I have attached that information.
We also offer signature cocktails (available by the gallon) for you to offer your guests, a delightful & fun personal touch!
There is a $500.00 deposit to reserve your room and date for you, and Bayside Banquets does not book more than one event per day in their banquet rooms, making planning the time of your event much easier. You can also have access a few hours before to decorate if you wish.
Lastly, the restaurant, Silas Dent’s Waterfront Steakhouse provides the food for the banquets. There are 5 unique restaurant spaces for groups from 10 – 50 is a casual reception or rehearsal dinner is needed.
