Located in a residential area, this Treasure Island gem doesn’t have all the convenience of a Sunset Vista Wedding, but what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in beauty. With no hotels or public vendors, Sunset Beach is a less-popular tourist destination, which makes it an ideal wedding spot.
You will cherish the dramatic images of you and your spouse on a rock jetty with the sun setting behind you. An outdoor pavilion with parking lot available for rent provides an ideal reception spot so your guests can simple walk from the beach to the pavilion to begin the celebration.
If you have a large crowd coming to celebrate your love, the Saint Petersburg Lions Club Beach-Front Club House, located on Sunset Beach has a beach-front reception hall perfectly suited for a romantic beach wedding followed by a celebration to remember. With a bar, full kitchen and dance floor this Treasure Island institution knows how to host a party.

If you want to celebrate your love at one of Treasure Island’s most iconic locales, the historic Thunderbird Beach Resort is the spot. With mid-century charm and modern amenities, this 1950’s era resort at the end of the Treasure Island Causeway is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico.
The large tropical garden center, beach bar and easy access to everything on Treasure Island make this resort an ideal wedding spot.
There is a $35 permit fee charged for this location ($25 City of Treasure Island + $10 processing). The resort itself does not charge for your wedding on the beach, which makes it our hotel choice for Treasure Island Beach Weddings.
Sunset Beach is located in a residential area, so there are no hotels to crowd the beach. It does not have public vendors renting chairs and umbrellas to restrict the beach. There is great beach pavilion, which you can rent to have your outdoor reception. They also have a parking lot you can rent with the pavilion. If you rent the parking lot or pavilion permits are required. With a rock jetty and pavilion, this makes a great location for photo ops and Our Wedding Packages.
This large rental hall on Treasure Island offers a white sandy beachfront location for your wedding and indoor/outdoor reception. It is perfect for larger weddings and beach receptions with its own private parking lot. Its bar area, full kitchen, dance floor and prime beach location make it an excellent choice. The Historic Thunderbird Beach Resort on Treasure Island, Florida – A Family Owned and Operated Beachfront Hotel Since 1957. It’s your place to stay for a beachfront wedding and reception site. It’s located at the end of the Treasure Island Causeway and directly on the Gulf of Mexico with a large topical center garden and courtyard. The beach at the Thunderbird is extremely wide, so your wedding will take place closer to the back of the hotel.
